![]() Annapurna Sriram Wins Best Actor Award at Bushwick Film Festival Nashville, TN- Annapurna Sriram won the Best Actor award at Bushwick Film Festival in Brooklyn, NY and Honorable Mention at the North Bend Film Festival, Washington for her first lead role in a narrative feature film, “Feral.” She is currently filming the drama “Continue” from Nadine Crocker with “Bones” alum Emily Deschanel, Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead), Analeigh Tipton (Why Women Kill), and Kat Foster (Jean-Claude Van Johnson). Anna’s performance is so exceptional, the audience thinks it’s watching a documentary about a homeless person, not a scripted film, as she throws herself into the role — rummaging through real garbage and begging for swipes for the metro. “Words cannot describe how impressive Sriram is in Feral. Sriram delivers the kind of performance that audiences will be talking about as they leave the theatre. Yazmine’s story is an emotional, lonely journey that is both heartwarming and utterly tragic, and Sriram captures the emotion of the character perfectly.” - Matt Konopka, Cinedump “Feral” premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival, and has also appeared at The Montreal Festival du Nouveau Cinema World Film Festival.
